What do I need to have the program work successfully?

The ZERO BULLY Program is suitable for most formats: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, MAC OS10 and above.

Why do I need such a program? My child(ren) tell(s) me everything.

It is wonderful when children communicate freely with their parents; however, research indicates that this is not often the case. Research indicates that children are often afraid to tell their parents that they have encountered something that is upsetting. They are afraid that their parents will over react and end their access to the internet or cell phone, limit their use of the computer, report their findings to the police, upset their parents and ruin their parent’s trust. Research has confirmed that children do not want to look bad in their parents’ eyes.

Will my child be protected from retribution? Will the person they report know that it was them who made the accusation?

Yes to the first question. Your child’s report remains anonymous. Once your child hits the ZB button, all entries are anonymous. The program was designed to protect your child’s identity.

Will my child’s name be given to the authorities?

ZB screens captured reports and forwards the information to the appropriate authorities, whether the police or school officials. Your child’s name or address is never forwarded to the police or school officials.

Will I be notified and kept informed on the status of a reported predator or bully?

No. Once the report is received at ZB offices it is reviewed and the data collected is forwarded to the necessary authorities. There will be no further follow-up with you or your child. The main point is that your child remains anonymous.

How does my child know that his/her report has been received?

A thank you reply will be sent from ZB once the report has been received.

Will my child have to go to court?

No. Your child’s report is completely anonymous. Only the content of the screen is reported to the authorities. The names and identities of our clients are never forwarded or shared with authorities. Your child’s or your report is screened and only the necessary information is forwarded.

How difficult is this system to use?

Once downloaded onto your computer the ZB program is extremely easy to use. Following the directions, you only have to hit ZB button and the information will be forwarded to our headquarters for screening.

Will the program monitor my child or home computer?

No. Unlike other monitoring programs, ZB does not monitor a computer. ZB will take reports of bulling, expected acts of violence, or information regarding predators and share that information with the necessary authorities only when activated.
